Having been beaten up by Victor Hudson during the last issue, Logan wakes up battered and heads off to track Victor.
Meanwhile, Daken is about to undergo the same operation that Logan had undergone before although this time, it seems he is to be infused with the Muramasa blade as well.
Wolverine was able to track down Victor, and the two exchange a few blows until Wolverine stumbled upon Tinkerer and Daken, who has just undergone the procedure.
To his disgust, Wolverine broke Daken out of the chamber and was informed by Daken that Romulus is on the same train that they were. With his son’s life more important to him, Wolverine had no choice but to let Romulus go. As they were talking, Daken suddenly stabbed Wolverine with his newly implanted claws.
Five days later, we see Wolverine in a bar, looking at Newspaper with a feature on the Dark Avengers. He had these lines to finish of his scene:
“Romulus took away the one thing I had left to lose. That was a mistake. Now there’s nothin stoppin me nothin holdin me back, nothin..”
At the last scene we see Romulus being taken to a prison camp.
