Supergirl Annual 1
This issue is divided into two stories, one focusing on Supergirl and the other on Superwoman.
Secret Identities
The Guardian and his team bust into a bank looking for a Kryptonian. An attempted robbery was somehow stopped and all criminals were lying on the ground unconscious.
This was all because of Supergirl of course, who is trying to live a normal life disguised as Linda Lang.
The guards started questioning everyone and one black guy dressed with a gown and a monk’s hat was accused of being the Kryptonian who took out everyone.
To draw out the Kyrptonian, the guards took out Red Kryptonite and everyone inside the bank were exposed one by one. To Supergirl’s surprise, a young boy together with his mother turned out to be Kryptonians and were chased by the guards.
Supergirl dragged the boy out of earth and threw him near the sun to counter the effects of the Red Kryptonite. She was however followed by the boy’s mother and knocked back to Earth.
At the last scene, we see Supergirl talking to Lana, talking about how she actually made matters worse by using her secret identity and going into the bank to help people.
Second Born: The Secret Origin of Superwoman
Lucy Lane A.K.A. Superwoman narrates her story and why she came to be Superwoman.
During their childhood, despite excelling in her studies and everything else, Lois was just a little bit better and was always praised by their dad. Lucy tried everything to get her father’s attention but all her effort was just put to waste as she was just second best.
When her father died, she decided to enlist in the army and continue what her father has done. One time during the DC event Amazons Attack, she was about to be killed but was saved by her father’s men and was taken to him. It seemed that her father’s death was faked and they were actually working on a top secret project. A suit that could give anyone Kyrptonian like powers.
Superwoman died when she fighting Supergirl but now, she seems to be back at Earth, lying naked at a deep crated in the ground.
